Replace the part. Understand the fit.
For a component swap, the aircraft and replacement part need to be considered together. Citadel Drones reviews straightforward FPV component jobs and selected gimbal assembly replacements before accepting the work.
Identify the damage first.
Send photos of the affected area and the exact aircraft or frame model. Let us know whether the issue followed a crash, a parts change, or normal use. A broken part and an unexplained electronic fault can require very different work.
What to include.
- The aircraft model or existing parts list
- The component you believe is damaged
- Any replacement part you already own, with its exact model
Keep the repair straightforward.
Simple accessible component replacements and related soldering are the current focus. Compatibility, access, and the checks needed after fitting all affect whether a particular job is suitable.
Gimbal assembly replacements.
Gimbal assembly replacements are considered by model. Send the exact aircraft model, photos of the damage, and details of any proposed replacement assembly. Compatibility and calibration requirements must be confirmed before we accept the job. Replacing the complete assembly is a different scope of work from repairing its internal motors, sensors, or electronics.
Agree on the next step.
We discuss the work and any limitations before accepting the aircraft. Advanced circuit-board repair and internal camera or gimbal repair are outside the current repair focus.
