A soldering job or a deeper fault?

A visible wiring problem does not always explain every symptom. Damaged circuit-board pads, tiny surface-mounted components, and unexplained board faults may need specialist tools. We’ll confirm whether the proposed work fits our current capabilities.

Send the details before arranging intake.

Include the aircraft model, component name if known, and a description of the issue. Use email for photos. Keep the aircraft unpowered while discussing damaged electrical connections.

Repair a connection by mail

You do not have to be in Wichita to ask about an FPV soldering repair. We consider approved mail-in jobs from across the U.S. Send the aircraft and component details first; Julian confirms the scope, parts, cost, and timing before accepting the work. The shipping address and instructions are provided privately after acceptance.

Bring the whole problem

A damaged battery lead or connector can be the visible part of a larger issue. Include what stopped working and whether the aircraft has been powered since the damage. We review access, surrounding damage, and the checks needed after the connection is repaired. Torn board pads, microsoldering, and internal board faults are outside the current service.
