Nationwide mail-in / Based in Wichita, Kansas
Your drone. Our Wichita bench.
Citadel Drones accepts approved mail-in repair jobs from across the United States, with all work based in Wichita, Kansas. DJI repairs, FPV repairs, wiring, soldering, and general drone repair requests start with an intake review. Submit your aircraft details first; ship only after Julian accepts the job and sends the shipping address and instructions.
01 / Submit the intake.
Choose U.S. mail-in in the repair form. Include your city and state, the exact aircraft model, symptoms, and what happened. For FPV builds, include the frame and affected components if known. Email clear photos of the whole aircraft and the damaged area to Julian with your name and aircraft model.
02 / Wait for acceptance.
Julian reviews whether the job fits our repair capabilities. We discuss the proposed work, parts, cost, timing, and shipping arrangements before accepting it. Sending an intake request is not acceptance of a repair. Do not ship until you receive an explicit confirmation that we are taking your job.
03 / Receive your shipping instructions.
After acceptance, we send the ship-to address and confirm exactly what equipment to include and how to prepare it. Confirm outbound and return shipping arrangements before dispatch. Do not send batteries with your intake shipment; raise any battery-related symptoms during the review so we can decide whether the job is suitable.
04 / Agreed work and return arrangements.
We carry out the accepted scope and appropriate checks, then explain the work completed and any remaining considerations. Return shipping and timing are discussed for your specific job. If the required scope changes, the next step needs to be agreed with you.
Repairs we consider.
- DJI component repairs and complete gimbal assembly replacements, reviewed by model
- FPV and general drone repairs with a clear, manageable scope
- Accessible wiring and connector soldering
- Straightforward component replacement with compatible parts
A suitable job comes first.
We do not accept every model or fault. Advanced circuit-board repair, microsoldering, and internal camera or gimbal repair are outside the current focus. Gimbal assembly jobs depend on compatibility and calibration requirements. The intake review establishes whether sending your aircraft to us makes sense.
