For drone shops and pilot clubs

Refer a drone repair

If your shop or pilot club gets repair questions outside its own service, Citadel Drones can review a focused FPV or DJI repair inquiry. We are an independent repair business in Wichita, Kansas, with local handoffs and approved nationwide mail-in intake.

Jobs worth asking about

  • Accessible FPV wire and connector soldering
  • Straightforward component replacement with compatible parts
  • Complete DJI gimbal assembly replacement, subject to model and calibration review

Let the pilot contact us

Share this page or the relevant service link with the owner. They can send their exact aircraft model, symptoms, photos, city and state, and any repair attempts directly to Julian at julian@citadeldrones.com. This keeps the aircraft details and repair decisions with the person who owns it. Please do not send an aircraft on someone’s behalf without arranging the job with us first.

Acceptance comes first

Every referral is reviewed individually. We discuss suitability, parts, cost, timing, and intake before accepting it. A referral does not reserve bench time or guarantee a repair. For approved mail-in jobs, the ship-to address and instructions are sent privately after acceptance. Local Wichita handoffs also need agreement first.

Keep the description accurate

You can describe Citadel as an independent Wichita drone repair service that reviews nationwide mail-in FPV wiring, soldering, component replacement, and select DJI component jobs. We are not presenting this service as DJI-authorized warranty work. Advanced circuit-board repair, microsoldering, and internal camera or gimbal repair are outside our current focus.

Choose a useful service link

Use the FPV mail-in page for a custom quad with a wiring or component issue. For a DJI aircraft, start with our model-specific scope review. A Wichita-area pilot can discuss local handoff instead of mailing the aircraft. If the fit is uncertain, ask before recommending shipment.
